Register Your Student for the 2026-27 School Year
New and Returning Student Registration is underway for the upcoming 2026-27 School Year.
Please take a few minutes to review the registration information at www.acpsd.net/register or go directly to your parent portal in PowerSchool at http://aiken.powerschool.com/public.
For returning students, registration takes just a few minutes through your parent portal account as the student’s existing registration information will pre-populate. Please review and change any information that needs updating and ensure that up-to-date emergency contact information is included for each student.
Registering your student now helps us get ready to welcome your student back after the summer and ensure a smooth start to next school year, allowing teachers and classrooms to be assigned to serve your student on day one.

This is a reminder that we will have a Rising Senior Parent Meeting tomorrow, Wednesday, May 20 at 5:30 PM in the Media Center.
We realize there are some scheduling conflicts. Rest assured we will have another meeting at the beginning of the year for our seniors and parents. Information from this meeting will also be emailed to students and parents.

MEDICATION PICKUP REMINDER: Just a reminder to pick up medication by Tuesday, 05/26/2026. It is against ACPSD policy to store medication and/or student's medical equipment over the summer. Final Exams! Please note that block final exams will be given next TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY, May 26th and 27th. 2nd and 4th block exams will be given on that Tuesday and 1st and 3rd block exams on that Wednesday. This is different from previous years, so please make sure you are present on both these days!

Game 6 in the SCHSL Lower State Championship is today, May 18, at S.Florence at 6:30 PM. This is an important game because the winner moves on and the team that comes up short will be eliminated, so both sides will be fighting hard to be successful!! Let's go Jackets!!! #nahsyellowjackets

Dr. Ball’s students of the month for May are Jayde Rowland, Cameron Simmons, and Siri Oduaran. Each of these students throughout the semester have displayed a desire to learn, no matter how difficult the material has gotten. They always had a smile on their face, worked hard, persevered, and were a pillar for their classmates when needed. Keep up the great work!

All are invited to the NAHS Choirs’ Spring Concert, “Let Music Live” happening Friday, May 15th at 7 pm, at Grace United Methodist Church. The performance will feature our Concert Choir, Jacket Chorale, and Alumni-Parent-Faculty Choir! There is no cost of admission. Come join us celebrate music, our senior class of 2026, and life-long music-making!

The spring game will be on Wednesday, May 20th at 6pm. There is not entry fee for the game.
We are accepting food and drink donations for our summer workouts. Items that can be donated are bottled water, Gatorade, Powerade, peanut butter crackers, cheese crackers, pop tarts, goldfish, Uncrustables, granola bars, and protein bars. There will be a donation drop off in the stadium for all items.

This exciting program gives teens a behind-the-scenes look at law enforcement, fire services, teamwork, leadership, and public safety careers through hands-on activities and real-world experiences. CONGRATULATIONS to the North Augusta Softball team who won the District Championship game Monday night vs. Hartsville with a final score of 8-1. On Thursday, May 14, the Jackets will travel to Gray Collegiate to begin bracket play on the Lower State Finals in the State Championship! Pack the stands and come out to cheer for our Jackets on Thursday night! WAY TO GO LADY JACKETS!!!!

The golf team advanced to the State Championship with a 3rd Place finish in the Lower State Championship on Monday. Three Jackets placed in the top 15 individually as well, Luke Johnson T2 with a 72, JB Brunson 14th with a 75 and Jack Kayea 15th with a 76. The Jackets will play in the State Championship on Monday and Tuesday in Senaca, SC. WAY TO GO JACKETS!!!!!!

Seniors who have earned an A average in their classes are exempt from taking the exam. If a senior exempts all exams, they do not need to attend school this Thursday and Friday.
Seniors are only required to attend during the scheduled block of any class in which they are taking an exam. For example, if a student exempts their 2nd block exam, but not their 4th, they may arrive to school at the start time of their 4th block.
Absences will be excused. This is for seniors who exempt the exam only.

On Thursday May 7, 2026, high school seniors from across Aiken County Public Schools were recognized at the annual Senior Scholars Banquet held at the USC Aiken Convocation Center.
The event celebrated the academic achievements of some of the district's highest performing graduating seniors. To qualify as a Senior Scholar, students were required to maintain at least a 3.75 cumulative GPA, rank within the top 10 percent of their graduating class, and earn no lower than a B in any high school credit course during each quarter.
