Senior Decision Day and Field Day

Attention Seniors & Parents!

We are thrilled to celebrate our Class of 2025 with a full day of fun and recognition on Friday, May 2nd! Seniors, this is your time to shine, and we don’t want you to miss out on this exciting celebration of your accomplishments!

As part of the festivities, we will hold Senior Decision Day and Senior Field Day—two special events designed to honor your hard work and future plans while giving you time to relax and enjoy with your classmates before graduation.

To participate, you must complete the Senior Decision Day & Field Day Form by Thursday, April 17 using your Aiken County Public School District email. Parents cannot complete the form for students, but we encourage you to remind seniors to do so.

Senior Decision Day Assembly

We want to recognize your next big step—whether you're heading to college, the military, or the workforce! Please wear colors or attire that represent your future plans. On the day of the event, arrive at the practice gym by 8:00 AM for lineup before the assembly.

Senior Field Day – A Time to Celebrate!

After the assembly, keep the fun going at Senior Field Day from 10:45 AM - 12:00 PM on the football practice field! There will be games, food trucks, and time to celebrate with your classmates. Be sure to bring money for food trucks, water bottles, sunscreen, hats, tennis shoes, shorts, and a blanket, chair, or towel since there is no seating on the field. You may change into shorts at 10:45 AM, but you must wear appropriate clothing if returning inside the building.

March Madness kicks off this week. There will be special events everyday for our seniors! Take advantage of all NAHS has to offer to help you succeed after you leave NAHS!

This week:

Monday, 3/3: Navy will be in the cafeteria fielding questions for Military Monday

Tuesday, 3/4: Lander University will be in the Media Center For Instant Decision Day

Wednesday, 3/5: Work on Scholarships with your counselor in the counseling office

Thursday, 3/6: Fine tune your resume with the counselors from 11:00-1:30pm in the counseling office

FAFSA Night

Attention high school seniors and parents! Join the Financial Aid staff from USC Aiken and Aiken Technical College to learn more about FAFSA! This informational session will be held on January 28th from 6pm - 8pm in building C, the Dale Phelon Tech Center (1st floor) at Aiken Technical College. Parents are asked to create a FSA id prior to attending the meeting. The link to create an account can be found here:

LAST CHANCE CAP AND GOWN ORDER!

Attention Seniors! If you have not ordered your cap and gown unit for graduation, now is the time to do so to ensure it will arrive with the others to be delivered to you here at the school in April! If you need assistance or do not remember how to order, please see your counselor.

USCA Instant Decision Day
December 11, 2024

USC Aiken Instant Decision Day! On Wednesday, December 11th, USCA will be at NAHS for Instant Decision Day.  Sign up in the counseling office no later than Monday, December 9th.  A minimum weighted GPA of a 3.0 is strongly recommended. See your school counselor if you have questions.

Homecoming Court Applications

Due September 3rd

FINAL REMINDER! Homecoming Court Applications can be picked up in Mr. Spears room D310 on the Social Studies Hall or by clicking the application below. All applications are due by Sept. 3rd at 3:30 in the Main Office. No Late Applications will be accepted.

Senior IGP's

August 12 - August 29

Senior IGPs begin the week of August 12. All seniors should check their email for an invitation with the date and time of their appointment, and students should arrive 5 minutes prior to their scheduled time. Students are responsible for ensuring they make it to their appointment on time! Students should direct questions to their counselor.

University of South Carolina Aiken offering free Application Days!

July 29 - July 31st ONLY

University of South Carolina Aiken (USCA) is waiving all application fees ($45) starting Monday, July 29 through Wednesday, July 31st only! This is ONLY for Aiken County Students.

The Fall 2025 application can be found HERE.  Be sure to submit it before 11:59 pm on Wednesday to get it for free.  The application will become available worldwide on August 1, but the $45 fee waiver offer will no longer be available.  Apply now at https://apply.usca.edu/register/Senior_Sneak_Peek!

Senior Yearbook Photos
Remember these dates: August 27th and September 27th

Only senior portraits taken by our school photographer, Wilson Studios will be placed into the senior section of the yearbook. Please call Wilson Studios to schedule your appointment.

Any photos taken after September 27th will not be accepted.

If you are unable to attend a photo session at Wilson Studios, you will report to the cafeteria on the morning of makeup picture day, which is Tuesday, August 27th and tell the photographer that you are a senior and Wilson Studios will take one photograph to place into the yearbook.
