Registration for fall ACVA (Aiken County Virtual Academy) courses will open on Wednesday, July 31st with courses starting August 19th. ACVA Courses provide high school students with the chance to take a few courses online while attending regular school in person. Students enroll in ACVA for various reasons, such as increasing schedule flexibility, getting ahead on their courses, or making up for missed
credits. If you are interested, schedule a meeting with your counselor today!
ATTENTION ALL SWIMMERS: 7th through 12th graders interested in joining the NAHS Varsity Swim Team should turn in all paperwork on Friday, August 2nd from 3:30pm - 5:00pm in the Multi-Purpose Room (B124) in the business wing of North Augusta High School. Mandatory try outs will take place at Hammond Hill Suburban Club Pool August 5th - 7th from 4:00 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. Email Mandy Pond (apond@acpsd.net) or Sarah Emerling (semerling@acpsd.net) for more information.
Students who took regular Virtual SC course(s) will have exams on August 1 in the media center at 8:20 AM. Students MUST bring their charged laptops. If students have more than one exam, all must be taken on this day. See your counselor if you have any questions.
NAHS GIRLS GOLF: North Augusta High School Girls Golf tryouts will be held on August 5th and 7th at the River Golf Course at 4:00pm. Interested golfers should meet at 4:00 p.m. at the putting green. All participants MUST have their Sports Physical on file at the high school before they can tryout. No Exceptions! Email Coach Johnson at ljohnson10@acpsd.net

Parents/Guardians/Students: Over the next week, we'll be reviewing the Student Code of Conduct during the school day. Please take a few minutes at home to become familiar with the the rules for your school, as well as the consequences that could result for students who do not follow them. The Code of Conduct is available by scanning the QR code or visiting www.acpsd.net/CodeOfConduct. We are looking forward to a wonderful year, and appreciate your support in following these conduct guidelines that are aimed to ensure we're creating an environment in which effective teaching and learning can occur and that safeguards are in place for the safety of all students, staff and families.
We welcome all students back on Monday, July 22nd. As a reminder, the building will open at 8:10am with the first bell ringing at 8:20am. We will be on a 40-minute homeroom bell schedule the entire first week. We ask that all seniors, even those with late arrival, attend homeroom on 7/22, 7/23, 7/24, and 7/29, with an additional homeroom requirement for seniors on 8/5. Thursday, July 18th, we invite everyone to the Media Center for a drop-in to meet Mr. Casey Rogers, North Augusta High School’s new principal. He will be available between 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. This will coincide with “Walk Your Schedule” which will occur from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m.
As a reminder, Walk Your School will be held at NAHS July 18th, from 3:00pm - 6:00pm. Come meet Mr. Rogers between 4pm - 6pm in the Media Center. The Senior Meeting will be held in the Multi-Purpose Room at 5pm. Attendance is optional. We cannot wait to see everyone on Thursday!

At the Tuesday, July 9, 2024, meeting, the school board approved administration’s recommendation for Mr. Casey Rogers to serve as Principal at North Augusta High School for the 2024-25 school year.
Mr. Rogers has served as a principal in our school district for the last four years, and, most recently, as principal of Paul Knox Middle School. He is a graduate of North Augusta High School and is looking forward to continuing to serve students, teachers and families in our community that he is so proud to call home.
Kristin Risher, who has been an integral part of North Augusta’s administrative team since 2018 when she started here as an Assistant Principal, will transition her leadership to Paul Knox and serve there as interim principal.
Mr. Rogers and Mrs. Risher are working in partnership during this transition as we prepare to welcome students and families back to school. Please join us in welcoming Mr. Rogers to North Augusta High School during “Walk Your Schedule” next Thursday (July 18). Families are encouraged to come by the Media Center to “Meet The Principal” from 4-6.
NAHS' "Walk Your Schedule" will be held on Thursday, July 18th from 3:00pm until 6:00pm. All parents and students should park in front of the Jacket Arena, Lot E. Printed schedules will be available upon entering the Jacket Arena. We look forward to seeing everyone there!
The class of 2025 Seniors and their parents are invited to join us on Thursday, July 18th at 5:00PM in the NAHS Media Center for an informational senior meeting provided by the School Counseling Department.
NAHS will host freshman and new student tours July 15th-July 18th at 2:00pm. Our S2S (Student to Student Club) ambassadors will be giving the tours starting in the counseling office. We look forward to welcoming all of our new students and showing off their new school home!
NAHS will be closed in honor of the 4th of July Holiday. We will reopen on Monday, July 8th.
