Teacher working with students

Mr. Ball, math teacher at NAHS, was recently named a Claes Nobel Educator of Distinction. He was nominated by a student for this award. These educators of distinction are "outstanding role models and exemplary practitioners who have made a lasting difference in students' lives by encouraging them to strive for excellence, not just in their academic pursuits but in all their endeavors."

Recently, Mr. Ball and Dr. Drew worked with our Calculus students to refine their skills when taking derivatives. Students enjoyed having white boards to work on and an extra teacher to ask questions. This is just a small example of the dedication he has to this profession, and the impact he has on his students.

Way to go Mr. Ball!
