Ridge Spring, SC – On July 27th, Ridge Spring-Monetta Middle High School (RSMMHS) partnered with Helping Hearts Ministries and Locked In! Youth Development Center to host a Senior and Youth Health and Wellness Fair. The event, held in the gymnasium of RSMMHS, aimed to promote health awareness, provide valuable resources, and foster community well-being.
Representatives from various health and wellness organizations set up booths, gave presentations, and conducted health screenings. Approximately 100 people attended the fair, making it a successful community event.
Highlights included a blood donation drive, student-led blood pressure checks and hearing screenings, fun fitness activities for kids, free clothes, giveaways, and local food vendors. Additional contributors included Shepeard Community Blood Center, Aiken Regional Medical Center, Hearing Associates of South Carolina, the Aiken Center, Counselor 2 Counselor, Standup Wireless, and Li-J Financial Enterprises.
The Senior and Youth Health and Wellness Fair exemplified RSMMHS’s commitment to community health and well-being. By bringing together diverse organizations and engaging participants of all ages, the fair successfully achieved its goals.
