The history of Ridge Spring-Monetta High School in Aiken County, South Carolina includes the construction of the original school in 1956, and the subsequent construction of a new high school on the same campus:
Original school
The H.G. Reynolds Company built the original Ridge Spring-Monetta High School in 1956. The school's halls remained largely unchanged for over 60 years.
New high school
In 2018, the H.G. Reynolds Company was hired to demolish the original school and construct a new high school on the same campus. The new high school was built in two phases:
Phase 1: Completed before 2017
Phase 2: Completed in February 2020, this phase included the construction of a new 124,500 square foot high school. The new school includes a gymnasium, media center, science labs, administration area, and athletic facilities.
