Mossy Creek Elementary library, a great place to find a book or adventure that fits your interests perfectly! During our weekly visits we learn about the library, check out great books to read, Web tools for learning, how to access and use information, research, and so much more! We learn how to access information on the internet safely, and use our Media Center website to extend what we are learning in our classrooms and in the Media Center. We also reach out to others to spread the joy of reading through our many service learning projects that make a difference!

Welcome to the Mossy Creek Media Center, I am Ms. Landy your media specialist. I have taught in the library for over twenty years. I began my career with the New York City Department of Education in Brooklyn, New York as a library teacher in grades K-6. I relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina, where I taught K-5 with the Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools. I am now here in Aiken County beginning year twelve at Mossy Creek in North Augusta, South Carolina. I have absolutely loved helping to motivate and cultivate a life-long love of reading with your child(ren)!!! Looking forward to the great year ahead with your child!

My name is Geannie Coleman and I am the Media Center Aid. I have a B.S. in Physical Education from Limestone College in Gaffney, S.C. . This is year three for me in the library, but I have been working at Mossy Creek for 6 years. I enjoy going to the beach and spending time with my family.  Working with students and watching them grow their  love reading has been such a joy for me.
