Hello, I am excited to be a part of Mossy Creek Elementary School.  I will be working with all students, placing an emphasis on life skills and career exploration.  Career exploration is important for elementary students because it helps to improve students' knowledge of career options, encouraging them to develop and work toward goals during the critical years when they are also beginning to venture beyond the orbit of their parents.

I am a proud graduate of South Carolina State University with a BS in Psychology. I received a GCDF certificate as a Career Development Facilitator or Career Specialist. I am also a certified Girl Circle Facilitator.

 I have been working as a Career Specialist for 13 years in the Aiken County Public School District. As a Career Specialist, I have worked in several capacities.  Currently, I serve as the Military Community Liaison for the District.  This year I will also be working in the counselor’s office at Mossy Creek in the area of life skills and career exploration.
