Allie Davis, Ryan Jordan, and Joshua Nunn won the team welding fabrication competition for SC Skills USA and traveled to Atlanta to represent SC! Showing dedication to their craft, these dedicated students gave up extra summer vacation days by spending the nine days prior to the competition honing their skills.
In the words of Coach Bailey: "A really great experience for our students. I am really proud of this group and the hard work that they put in and the sacrifices they made to get here. They represented our school, district, and State like the Champions they are. I am glad they let me come along for the ride."
In addition to our students' competition, other skills competitions taking place included: "plumbing, electrical, AC, crime scene investigation, masonry, automotive repair, culinary arts, auto body repair, sheet metal, home building, cosmetology, cabinets, car audio installation... That’s just a few. The list goes on and on." ,,, "It is amazing what these young kids are doing. ,,, These young people are amazing."
