Media Center

The Library Media Center at Warrenville Elementary provides a vast array of resources for students' informational needs and recreational enjoyment. Each 5K through 5th grade class comes to the library at least once a week to learn about the wonderful world of information found in our library. Lessons include organization of books and resources, Dewey Decimal System, reference books, read-alouds, online books, award-winning stories, and much more. Ms. Baker and Ms. Prupis want our students to check out books as often as possible so that they can get smarter and smarter!

I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education in 1996.  Since then, I have taught four years of first grade at Greendale Elementary, three years of 2nd grade at Central Elementary in Gulfport, MS., and 17 years of 2nd grade here at Warrenville Elementary.  I have earned two masters' degrees.  The first is in Elementary Reading, and the second is in Library Media.  I will graduate in December and will officially earn my M.Ed. in Library Media.

I am so excited to have the opportunity to spend time and share my love of reading, research, and technical skills with the students of Warrenville Elementary.
