Welcome to Warrenville Elementary! My name is Charlene Heard and this is my tenth year as principal. Prior to this time, I was the assistant principal at Chukker Creek. Before then, I taught kindergarten, second, third, fourth, and was a technology instructional coach in Lexington School District 4.
I am a product of Aiken County Public Schools where I attended Busbee Elementary School, A.L. Corbett Middle School, and Wagener-Salley High School. I attended the University of South Carolina-Aiken where I received a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education. I continued my education at Columbia College receiving a Master of Education degree in Divergent Learning. Later, I received an Educational Specialist degree in Educational Administration from South Carolina State University. I am currently pursuing a Doctor of Education degree in Educational Administration from South Carolina State University.
I am anticipating a successful and rewarding year, and I look forward to working with the dedicated staff, parents, and community to provide an exceptional educational experience for Warrenville students. At Warrenville, it is our desire to keep you informed. Therefore, information will be sent to you through newsletters, phone calls, and the school web page. I have an open-door policy, and I welcome your questions, comments, and concerns. You can call me at (803) 663-4270, email me at cheard@acpsd.net, or stop by the office.
