📚✨ March is Be An Author Month! ✨📚 At North Augusta Elementary School, our young writers have been hard at work! Under the guidance of Writing Lab Teacher Mrs. Aiken, students from kindergarten through fifth grade wrote and illustrated their very own books! 🖊️🎨 The Be An Author Month program encourages creativity, storytelling, and a love for writing. The goal? To empower every student to see themselves as authors—bringing their unique ideas to life on the page! Check out this inspiring collage of our talented young authors proudly sharing their stories! 📖💡 👏 Way to go, NAUES writers! 📢 Learning History Hands-On at North Augusta Elementary! 🏚️📚 Mrs. Kelly Moore’s fifth-grade students at North Augusta Elementary took a creative and immersive approach to learning about the Great Depression! Using cardboard and basic materials, they designed and built their own Hooverville towns, bringing history to life in a powerful and meaningful way. This hands-on project helped students understand the challenges faced by many Americans during this era while fostering teamwork, critical thinking, and creativity. Their incredible models serve as a reminder of resilience and perseverance during tough times. 👏 Great job to our young historians for their hard work and dedication! #NAElementary #Hoovervilles #HandsOnLearning #HistoryComesToLife #FutureLeaders 📸 Check out some of their amazing creations below! ⬇️
