Redcliffe Elementary Students Explore Their Futures on Career Day
Redcliffe Elementary was buzzing with excitement today as students participated in Career Day, dressing up as their future career choices and showcasing their aspirations. Adding to the excitement, fifth-grade students put their research skills to the test, presenting detailed projects about their chosen careers to younger grade levels, inspiring them to dream big.
The event also featured a special "Principal for a Day," giving one lucky community member the chance to experience school leadership firsthand. Mr. Gmitter is the owner of The Lucky Pecan Store and Whispering Oaks RV Park. He is a retired Air Force Officer (1984) and once served as a part-time 4th grade substitute teacher. He retired from General Electric Company in 1992 and SRS in 2009. Thank you for joining us today, Mr. Gmitter!
With a day full of learning, creativity, and career exploration, Redcliffe Elementary is shaping future professionals one step at a time!
