The Bear Cubs Bring Cheer to We Care Residential
The Bear Cubs, Redcliffe Elementary’s spirited service team, recently visited We Care Residential to deliver donations collected for their Year-Long Service Project. This dedicated group of students spent the past year gathering essential items to support the residents.
Last year, the Bear Cubs made a meaningful impact by creating 125 Bear Cub Care Packages for the homeless. This year, their focus shifted to supporting the residents of We Care. They successfully collected 56 bars of sensitive soap, 21 puzzles, 57 jigsaw puzzle books, nine bags of hard candy, 25 packs of gum, and 65 mini Vaseline containers.
Their visit was about more than just dropping off supplies—it was about bringing joy. During their time at We Care, the Cubs distributed heartfelt cards and engaged residents in puzzle activities. The visit was filled with smiles, laughter, and camaraderie as the students performed songs and cheers, lifting the spirits of everyone present.
The event was such a success that the Cubs have already been invited back to We Care Residential for another visit. Their dedication to service continues to make a lasting impact on the community.
