Practicing Safe Bus Evacuation: A Key Component of National School Bus Safety Week

As National School Bus Safety Week approaches (October 21st through 25th), Redcliffe spent some time last week focusing on educating students about safe bus evacuation procedures, emphasizing the importance of knowing how to exit a bus quickly in emergencies. Drills teach students to recognize all exits, follow the bus driver’s instructions, and evacuate in an orderly manner. By role-playing various scenarios, students gain confidence and skills that could be critical in a real situation.

Please emphasize the importance of preparedness, following safety rules for riding on a bus , and establishing routines for getting to and waiting at the bus stop safely. By fostering a culture of awareness, we can ensure that every child enjoys a secure journey to and from school. Thank you to our BUS DRIVERS for keeping our kids safe on the road!
