On Thursday, February 27th, third-grade students at North Augusta Elementary School had the exciting opportunity to visit the Book Fair and select up to $15.00 worth of free books (including tax). This initiative, part of the Diana Floyd "My Own Book" Reading Program, aims to foster a love of reading by encouraging young learners to choose books that align with their reading levels, with a focus on picture books and chapter books containing structured sentences and paragraphs.
This meaningful program is sponsored by the Aiken County Public Education Partners Organization and is made possible through the generous contributions of several community sponsors. Their support ensures that every third-grade student has the chance to build their personal library and foster a lifelong love of reading.
