SC Junior Book Awards

The SC Junior Book Award is a state program open to all students in 6-8 grades. These titles of a variety of genres and levels are chosen by a committee made up of librarians, teachers, parents, and students who narrow each year's list to 20 titles. Students are encouraged to read at least three titles and vote for their favorite by the end of February each year. Each year's winner is chosen by middle school students from all around the state of SC.
