Aiken County LOVES our teachers and employees—and it’s almost time to AMP THE APPRECIATION once again!
Mark your calendar for Friday, May 2, and make plans to bring your family and friends to downtown Aiken for a celebration just for YOU in The Alley and at the Aiken Center for the Arts.
Many of downtown Aiken’s eclectic shops and restaurants will stay open late and offer special discounts and “Educator Specials” to ACPSD employees as a way of showing their appreciation for all you do for students and families in our community.
Start your evening as early as 3:30 p.m. by picking up your “Downtown Dollars” in The Alley, a small token of appreciation for every ACPSD employee in attendance, redeemable at participating local businesses. Please be sure to bring your ACPSD ID badge to receive your “Downtown Dollars” and take advantage of educator discounts and specials.
Throughout the evening, enjoy live student performances in The Alley, explore shops, grab dinner at one of downtown’s great local restaurants, and stop by the Aiken Center for the Arts to view ACPSD student artwork on display—a special preview of Saturday’s Fine Arts Festival.
Be sure to return to The Alley later in the evening, when Savannah Sunday—featuring ACPSD’s own Robb Underwood and Mark Rich—takes the stage from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. You can get a sneak peek of their sound at www.savannahsunday.com.
However you choose to spend the evening, we hope you’ll join us downtown to connect, unwind, and celebrate the incredible impact YOU make every day.
We can’t wait to see you on Friday, May 2 for AMP THE APPRECIATION!
