Last week, we celebrated our amazing bus drivers and monitors! Thank you to each of you for your dedication and hard work in getting our students safely to and from school every day. We also want to recognize Jeremiah Partlow, Area 3 Transportation Supervisor, and Traci Banks, Area 3 Secretary — your hard work truly makes a difference! And to Ms. Rich, thank you for everything you do at LBC and as a bus driver. We love and appreciate you. Your hard work does not go unnoticed! A special thanks to our wonderful PTO for sponsoring gifts to show our appreciation. 🚌🚌

I am so proud of our students and staff for going all out to support the American Heart Association fundraiser on March 28. Congratulations to our LBC Ladies for winning the 3 on 3 basketball tournament. The kids' and men's teams gave it their best, but the ladies came out on top.

Congratulations to our March Teacher of the Month Ms. Deanna Cole and our March Lion Leaders Gracelyn Bates and Nataleigh Harris.

I am so proud of our Lion's Pride Battle of the Books team for coming in 4th place at the district battle this week. They worked all year reading their hearts out for this accomplishment. Great job Cayla Laughter, Keila Llorente, Joshua Munoz, and Amira Olek.

Corbin Banks had perfect form at his golf tournament this week when he shot a 44 and came in 1st place. Holden Combs did well with a 47 and Owen Busbee worked hard as he shot a 50.

In yesterday's golf tournament, our boys showed up and showed out. Corbin shot a 45 and secured 5th place. Holden and Owen both shot a 47. Great job boys and coaches!

Congratulations to our Talent Show contestants for their stupendous performances last Friday night. I have never been prouder of a group of students than I was that night. Our 1st place winners were Kennedy Amoroso, Kristanna Mitchell, and Payton Moore, 2nd place was Timmy Feagin, and 3rd place was Fatima Zaragoza. They were all winners in my book though, and the judges said they were so impressed with everyone that it made their job very difficult. We were also entertained by the Gavin Reily Band, featuring our very own Dr. P on electric guitar. Thank you to him and his fellow bandmates for their awesome tunes during intermission.

Congrats to our 6th, 7th, and 8th grade winners from last week’s basketball knockout competition! The students and staff had a blast kicking off March Madness with NCAA trivia, basketball games, College Shirt Day, and more. 🏀🔥 Special thanks to our PTO for sponsoring the prizes!

The staff had an absolute blast with Mrs. Vinson’s basketball scavenger hunt! Tiny basketballs were hidden all around the building, and the teacher who scored the most points took home the win! So many laughs and competitive fun! Big congrats to our champ, Ms. Allen—way to dominate! 🏀🎉 #MarchMadness

Our LBC boys have been slaying it on the golf course. Corbin Banks shot a 44, Holden Combs shot 49, and Owen Busbee shot 51. Great job guys!
