Title I at HSMS
What is Title I?
Title I funding is a federal program that provides financial assistance to public schools serving high numbers or high percentages of students from low-income families. Its goal is to ensure that all children, regardless of economic background, have access to a high-quality education and the resources they need to succeed. Title I funds are often used to support additional staff, instructional programs, technology, and parent engagement initiatives. By addressing educational disparities, Title I aims to close achievement gaps and promote equitable opportunities for all students.
