Winter Break is almost here!
Join us for Aiken County Public School District’s Spring Hiring Event for Teachers and Certified Staff on Saturday, February 1, 2025!
Applicants will have the opportunity for on-site interviews and on the spot job offers! The event will take place at Aiken High School located at 449 Rutland Drive in Aiken, SC from 8 a.m. until noon.
All schools and locations will be represented, and we will be hiring for certified positions to include immediate vacancies and future 2025-26 positions.

We have a lot going on this week:
1. Tomorrow is Light up the School Day-wear flashing Christmas lights (necklaces, earrings, headbands, etc) 🎄
2. The book fair begins tomorrow and goes through Thursday. 📚
3. Our Title 1 Holiday Stem Showcase is Thursday evening from 5:30-7:00pm. 🎅🏼
4. Candy Cane Grams are still on sale until Friday. 🤍❤️🤍❤️🤍❤️
Our Book Fair begins Monday. We will also be open during our Holiday Showcase Thursday evening.

We will run the e-Wallet report each morning at 8am. We will not run another report until the next day so try to get yours in before 8am each day.
GREE-Our 5th grade safety patrols and news crew are invited to participate in the New Ellenton parade this Saturday, 12/07/24. Permission slips went home today. Please return those tomorrow.
Additionally, any student, in any grade may also participate but, due to supervision and safety concerns, parents must plan to walk with their children. If you do plan on participating, please meet in the KJ's parking lot at 11:15am Saturday. Wear Christmas attire, but bundle up.
GREE-Tonight is the New Ellenton Tree Lighting at 6:30pm at City Hall. Our 1st and 2nd graders will be singing. They are asked to be there by 6:00pm and wear a red, green, or white shirt. Parents must stay with their student.
Our Candy Cane Gram fundraiser started this week. This fundraiser will bring in funds specifically for our counselor's account so that she is better able to serve our students! The last day to send in money is Friday, 12/13. If you need more forms, let us know.

Today was our annual Spelling Bee. Congratulations to our school winners! Taylor Murray won first place and Kamari Perry is our 2nd place winner.
