2023-2024 Gloverville Elementary State Report Card Rating

On October 15, 2024, the South Carolina Department of Education released the 2023-2024 school report cards.

The rating for Gloverville Elementary School was "Good" with 55 points. From the website, "a Good rating is where the school performance exceeds the criteria to ensure all the students meet the Profile of the SC Graduate."

We are proud of all the hard work our teachers, staff, students, and parents did last school year. Without the help from everyone this rating is not possible. It takes a great community of people to help our students grow and achieve the success we had. We would like to thank everyone for their hard work last year and the continued hard work we have done so far this school year to continue improving our students and school. As one community working together we can continue to grow and achieve new successes.

This category was not rated this year due to the new science standards being tested for the first time. However, in this section it gives good information on our kindergarten, first, and second grade students and their readiness and being on track for success.

Student Progress:

This is the area we dropped a little in comparison to last school year. We earned 15.98 points out of a possible 35 points. This year the state used a new model in calculating student progress with points and growth on the end of year state test.
