Good Evening Gloverville Families,

As we start to bring the first 9 weeks to a close this week and next, we have a few events leading us up to fall break over the next two weeks.

  • Monday, September 16th at 3pm - the School Improvement Council is meeting in the library.

  • Wednesday, September 18th - Students are dismissed at 11:30am for our 2nd Early Dismissal day of the school year.

  • Thursday, September 19th - From 5:00pm to 6:30pm we have our Math Night. Please come and join us to play some math games and gain some ideas to help your children at home.

Heading into the following week we have some other events to pay attention to as well.

  • Monday, September 23rd is Fall Picture Day.

  • Tuesday, September 24th - Lion' Club Vision Screening of all Students

    • Aiken County School Nurses and Aiken County Area Lions Clubs are offering a free vision screening for all elementary school students. They will be at Gloverville on September 24th . A photo-screening instrument will take pictures of your child’s eyes to screen for risk factors for vision problems.

    • If you DO NOT want your child to participate in the Lions Club vision screening event, please send a note to school to opt-out by the morning of September 24th.

    • Please call and speak with the school nurse if you have any questions.

  • September 27th - Donuts for Dad's Event. Flyers for RSVP's will be going home this coming week.

Fall Break - September 30th - October 11th there will be no school for students or teachers. Office hours these two weeks will be 7:30am - 4:30pm Monday through Thursday.

As always if you have any questions, please let us know.
