Orientation:

Anyone new to ACPSD or up for renewal, must undergo 4.0 Orientation.

Evaluator Training:

Needed for anyone to serve on an evaluation team (i.e. Principals, Assistant Principals, and Peer Evaluators).

An educator must meet the following criteria to be eligible to participate in SCTS evaluator training:

Have at least one year of successful teaching experience at the continuing-contract level in a South Carolina public school or at least three years of successful teaching experience in an EPP setting.

Must be recommended by your principal.

SCTS 4.0 Train-the-Trainer: only for those already trained as evaluators

This session is required for certified evaluators who will serve on the district training team.

Mentor Training

An educator must meet the following criteria to be eligible to participate Mentor training:

1. holds a valid South Carolina professional educator certificate for his or her professional position;

2. has a minimum of one year of successful teaching experience in South Carolina at the continuing contract level and is either a current practitioner or has been employed in a South Carolina public school system within the past five years

Must be recommended by your principal.

Train the Trainer

Requirements: Must hold a professional certificate, completed the CERRA Mentor training, served as a mentor at least one year
