"I am thrilled to have been chosen for this honor.  I am grateful for the people I work with, and the students I get to take care of each day!  I love working at MVHS!"


Ms. Ruth Morris has worked for ACPSD for six years and is currently serving as the Nurse at Midland Valley High School.

Nurse Morris is always diligent in her work and cares a lot for our kids. Recently, a student came to her experiencing dizziness and chest pain. She promptly informed the parent, and the student was taken to the hospital. That morning, the mother called Ruth, expressing her gratitude and saying that, because of her quick action, she saved her child’s life. Both Ruth and the mother were emotional and grateful for the outcome.

Yes, our nurses truly save lives!

We invite you to visit the Aiken County Public School District EAP website. The website is a resource available to help you and your family to build resilience and get answers to some of life’s toughest questions. You may even confidentially request no-cost EAP services from the site. For password access to the EAP website, please email Kayla Jordan, Employee Relations Coordinator, at KJordan@acpsd.net or request access from your supervisor or location secretary.
