The Public Education Partners of Aiken County recently made another donation to Aiken County Public School District to help fund teacher projects.
The donation was made during the Aiken County Board of Education meeting on Tuesday, May 10. Mike Rosier, communications director for ACPSD, said PEP was presenting a check for $5,197.04 to the district.
“The funds from this donation will be used to fund 11 teacher grant awards,” Rosier said. “Through evaluating all of the grant applications sent to PEP, 11 projects were selected to receive awards. These grants totaled $5,197.04, with $1,925 of those funds related to STEAM.”
