Holiday spirit filled the halls and hearts of Schofield educators as Schofield students received gift packages based upon wish lists they submitted to Santa Schofield prior to leaving for winter break.
Organized and planned by Schofield Middle School math teacher, Deborah Smith, the gift-giving warmed the hearts of all SMS stakeholders. Smith had proposed to the school's leadership team that each team provide gifts for one or two students. However, a spirit of giving flooded the building and even moved into the community resulting in 38 students being gifted with every item from their wish list!
The joy in the eyes of the students was just the enlightenment needed to fuel the motivation of Schofield educators to finish their final days before the holiday break.
