Board of Education Approves Pair of 2022-23 Assistant Principal Appointments at North Augusta High School

The Aiken County Board of Education approved the 2022-23 assistant principal appointments of Casey Crane and Jasmine Scott at North Augusta High School during the school board’s Tuesday, March 22, 2022, regularly scheduled meeting.

Crane’s academic background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, a Master’s degree in Athletic Coaching Education, and a Multi-Categorical Special Education Certificate, all from West Virginia University. He also holds Principal, Curriculum Instructor, and Superintendent certifications from Salem International University. 

He began his career in education in 2000 and currently serves as a Special Education Teacher at Langley-Bath-Clearwater and Leavelle McCampbell middle schools. He also serves as a Read 180 instructor, Learning Strategies instructor, and Aiken iNNOVATE educator.   

Scott’s academic background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from the University of South Carolina Columbia, a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from Columbus State University. She also holds an Educational Specialist certificate in Educational Leadership from Columbus State University.

Scott currently serves as an assistant principal at Schofield Middle School, where she is the School Improvement Council Coordinator, Scholar Achievement Administrator, 4.0 Evaluation Coordinator, and testing Coordinator. Prior to her role as an assistant principal, she served as a science teacher for six years. 

Their duties as North Augusta High School assistant principals will begin in July.
