Thurston Williams has been named the new assistant principal at Kennedy Middle School for the 2022-23 school year.
Williams’ academic background includes a Bachelor degree in Communications, a Masters degree in Middle Grades Education, an Education Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and an Educational Leadership Tier I certificate from Augusta University.
Williams currently serves as an interim assistant principal at North Augusta High School. Prior to his current role, he served as a Math teacher in both middle and high schools, and as a Special Education Paraprofessional in the Richmond County School System in Augusta, Georgia.
Williams’ duties as a Kennedy Middle School assistant principal will begin in July.
