Anna Beth Harbeson has been selected as the new assistant principal at Belvedere Elementary School for the 2022-23 school year.
Harbeson’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education from Clemson University where she graduated magna cum laude, a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Augusta State University, and an Education Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from Georgia Regents University.
Her career in education began in 2011 at Clearwater Elementary School, where she served as a kindergarten teacher, writing lab teacher, and math coach. In 2017, she was named the assistant principal at East Aiken School of the Arts.
Harbeson’s honors include being named Assistant Principal of the Year in 2021 and Clearwater Elementary School Teacher of the Year in 2015.
Harbeson’s duties as the Belvedere Elementary School assistant principal will begin in July.
