Kyle Blankenship has been appointed as the assistant principal at East Aiken School of the Arts for the 2022-23 school year.
Blankenship’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in History from St. Joseph’s University, a Masters of Science in Adolescence Education, Social Studies, and Special Education from Dowling College, and an Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership.
For the last three years, he has served as the assistant principal of New Ellenton Middle STEAM Magnet School. Prior to that role he has served as a principal, curriculum coach, and Special Education teacher.
Blankenship was named the 2020-21 Aiken County Public School District Assistant Principal of the Year and the 2018-19 South Carolina High School League Region III-A Principal of the Year.
His duties as assistant principal at East Aiken School of the Arts will begin in July.
