Jessica Cohen has been selected as the new assistant principal at North Augusta Elementary School for the 2022-23 school year.
Her academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Augusta State University, a Master of Arts in Literacy Specialist from Teachers College Columbia University, and a Master of Science in Leadership Educational Administration from Capella University.
Her career in education began in 2013 as a Kindergarten teacher in New York. In 2017 she served as a Kindergarten teacher at North Augusta Elementary School, and in 2018 she became the school’s Literacy Coach.
Cohen’s duties as the North Augusta Elementary School assistant principal begin in July.
