Gene Bush has been selected as the new assistant principal at Schofield Middle School for the 2022-23 school year.
His academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Lander University, a Master of Education in Elementary Education from the University of Central Florida, and an Education Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from Liberty University.
Bush served as a Linguist in the United States Navy where he met his wife, Wanda Bush, who is a Spanish Teacher at Ridge Spring-Monetta High School.
His career in education began in 1994 as an elementary school teacher. Throughout his career he has taught at nearly every grade level and served as an assistant principal.
Bush’s duties as the Schofield Middle School assistant principal begin in July.
