Jonyetta Thomas has been selected as the new assistant principal at New Ellenton Middle STEAM Magnet School for the 2022-23 school year.
Thomas’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in English from Augusta State University, and a Master of Education in Administration and Supervision from Southern Wesleyan University.
Her 12-year career in education has been spent in service with Aiken County Public Schools and includes a role as a Lead Teacher with over seven years of experience in instruction, curriculum development, and teacher leadership.
Thomas’s duties as New Ellenton Middle STEAM Magnet School assistant principal began in July.
