As part of their support to our School Board in their search for a new District Superintendent (following the retirement of Superintendent King Laurence at the end of this school year), The South Carolina School Boards Association is conducting community input meetings next Tuesday, December 5, and Wednesday, December 6. All are invited to attend these meetings, which are being held at 7:00 p.m. in locations across the county.
On Tuesday, December 5, meetings will be held at North Augusta High School in the Media Center and at Silver Bluff High School in the Auditorium. Again, on Wednesday, December 6, the community may choose from two locations to share their input, including our District Office in the Board Room or at Wagener-Salley High School in the Auditorium.
We look forward to the community’s insight into our school district’s next educational leader and hope to see many of you next Tuesday or Wednesday.
