Dear Silver Bluff High School Community,

I am honored and excited to introduce myself as the new principal of Silver Bluff High School. I am excited to join this incredible community and look forward to working together to continue the tradition of excellence that defines The Bluff.

Silver Bluff High School has a remarkable reputation for academics, outstanding extracurricular programs, and a supportive community. Our mascot, the Bulldog, represents our collective strength, determination, and spirit. I am committed to fostering an environment where these values thrive and where every student has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Throughout my career in education, I have been dedicated to creating student-centered learning environments. I believe in the power of collaboration, and I am eager to partner with our teachers, staff, parents, and, most importantly, our students to build on the school's successes and address new challenges.

As we embark on this journey together, I am committed to listening to your ideas, understanding your needs, and working collaboratively to create a positive and enriching school experience for all. I encourage you to share your thoughts and feedback with me. Together, we will continue to make Silver Bluff High School a place where everyone feels valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.

Thank you for the warm welcome I have already received. I am excited about the opportunities ahead and am confident that, with your support, we will achieve great things.

Here's to a wonderful school year filled with learning, growth, and Bulldog pride!

Warm regards,

Jennifer Kolmar

The youngest of three boys, I was raised in Birmingham, Alabama and started my adult adventures as a U.S. Army Chemical Corps soldier at Ft. McClellan, Al. My time in service afforded me the opportunity to travel the world, experiencing different places and cultures. I ended my career in Georgia, at Ft. Stewart, near Savannah.

I attended Georgia Southern in Savannah, back when it was still Armstrong Atlantic State University, receiving a B.S. in Criminal Justice. I spent a short time in the criminal justice field as a parole & probation officer. I decided that I wanted to be more constructive with my time, so I became an educator. I would like to influence young people to maximize their educational opportunities and use that same education to uplift their families and communities. This is the pathway to success and I wish to serve as a guide for our students.

I am married to my beautiful wife, JoEtta Moore, and we are raising a great group of 5 kids. I am extremely excited to be joining the Silver Bluff High School family.
