North Aiken mathematicians at work! These 5k scholars were working hard to figure out their word problems!
A huge applause for an amazing elementary students who sang their hearts out at the Aiken high school baseball game this week! Their performance was a shining moment made possible by weeks of dedication and rehearsals. A big thanks to Mr. Spooner for his leadership and passion and guiding these young voices!
2nd grade students are continuing to learn about what plants need to grow! Students started their projects this week and will work to observe what changes occur and what makes some plants grow and others not!
The flowers Ms. Bacon's class planted in November are now in full bloom, adding vibrant color to our school community gardens. Caileigh's was the first to bloom. It’s amazing to see their hard work come to life, reminding us all of the beauty that grows when we care for our environment together.
Our students had a great time at Special Olympics! Thank you to everyone who made this possible, our students and teachers loved it!
Congratulations to the house of ISIBINDI! They are the champions of our annual March Madness game! Thank you to all the supporters of this great event and everyone who participated! We had cheerleaders, a dance group performance, parent participants, and of course, our basketball players! Also, a special thank you to Aiken High School for letting us use their facilities!

North Aiken's Battle of the Books team competed today in ACPSD's district battle! Our students went up against other winning teams today and had a wonderful time celebrating reading!

Our school Battle of the Books teams competed today and battled for the title of winners for North Aiken!
All participants worked so hard and we are so proud of the effort they displayed during this year! Congratulations to our school winners: Tavyn, Christian, Connor, Damarion, Khamari, and Antron!

What a wonderful way to end Read Across America Week and Career week! We celebrated our favorite books and characters with a parade and had a "masked reader" assembly to see if our students and staff could identify our mystery readers! A huge thank you to Ms. Jones, Mrs. Cantrell, and Mrs. Posey for being great sports and treating our students to some great read alouds!
Don't forget to dress as your favorite book character tomorrow!
We've had such a great week in The Den, even if it was cut short with an elearning day! Positive vibes were shared as students and teachers wore shirts with a positive saying. Thank you to White Periodontics who shared so much knowledge with our students today! Another thank you to Howard University students for joining us to discuss careers today! And finally, thank you to Mrs. Revelle and Ms. Stapleton for reading to our students today! What an amazing day!
Four Houses, One Champion! Let the madness begin! The Annual March Madness Basketball Game will be on March 27th at Aiken High School! Doors will open at 5:30 PM and the game will start at 6:00 PM. Tickets are $3 for North Aiken Students and $5 for guests. Order forms will be sent home Monday March 10th. See Ms. Carter with any questions!

Today was career day and we saw some ambitious future careers in the den! We love seeing our students having big dreams for themselves and believing that success is the only option!
A big shout out to Ms. Franklin and her student teachers who read to all of our classes today! Sharing the joy for reading is what we love to see!
Monday was college day in the den and we had a special guest reader (Mr. Snipes from Aiken High) come talk about The Gamecocks! We also had some exciting visitors teach our students all about EMT practices!
