📚 **Book Fair:** Students can shop on Monday and Wednesday (grades 3–5) and Tuesday/Thursday (grades 4K–2nd). Please send cash or set up an eWallet using the QR code on the flyer.
📝 **iReady Testing:** Students in grades K–2 will be testing this week—thank you for helping them come ready to do their best!
🎨 **Arts Showcase (Thursday):** Join us for a wonderful evening celebrating our talented students! Performers should arrive at 5:00, and the show begins at 5:30. The book fair will also be open before and after the performances.
💚 **Emerald City Day (Friday):** We’ll celebrate literacy in style! Students should wear their house colors. Don’t forget—Wednesday is the last day to order a special Emerald City lunch.

Aiken High School’s Educators Rising would like to invite you and your children to enjoy “A Royal Family Ball - Under the Sea” in the Aiken High School cafeteria on May 8th - 6:00-8:30 PM. This event is for families with young children to experience a “prom-like” event, where they get to dress up in fancy clothes, dance to fun music, eat delicious snacks, make crafts, play games, enjoy other activities, and take pictures of the memories!
Tickets are available on GoFan.com. See the link and QR Code in the picture. Costs are $5.00 for each child ages 3-years-old to 12-years-old (children 2 + under are free). All children must be accompanied by an adult family member (18-years-old and up). Costs for adult tickets are $10.00.

We love bringing creativity to life at The Den! 🎨🐻
Yesterday, members of The Links, Incorporated visited our art studio to work with Ms. Kinard’s 2nd grade class for a hands-on ceramics lesson! 💚
Our young artists learned how to create pinch pot bowls and used their creativity to decorate them with unique patterns and designs. The excitement was everywhere as students shaped their clay into beautiful works of art!
We can’t wait for next week when they’ll paint and complete their clay masterpieces—stay tuned to see their finished creations! 🖌️

Today, we proudly Purple Up in support of our military-connected students and families.
To our military families, thank you for your service, your strength, and the many sacrifices you make. We are honored to serve your children and celebrate them not just today, but every day.
"Purple up" with Aiken County Public Schools on Friday, April 17th, as we combine Air Force blue, Army green, Navy blue, Marine red, Space Force blue and Coast Guard blue and wear PURPLE in a demonstration of support for the families of those who serve.

A Successful SC READY Parent Night at North Aiken Elementary!
We had a wonderful evening at North Aiken Elementary as we prepared our students and families for SC READY testing! Thank you to the many families who joined us for this informative and engaging event.

Innovation, Art, and Athletics: That’s a Wrap on Spring Intersession!
From the field to the art studio, our students didn't just spend the week learning, they spent it leveling up. The halls of North Augusta Middle were buzzing with the intensity of LEGO Wars and the creativity of Art Enrichment, while Aiken and Redcliffe Elementary became hubs for future engineers at our Coding Camps sponsored by SRNS.
The creativity continued with Fine Arts Coordinator Kimberly Fontanez’s much anticipated Dance Camp held at Aiken High, and High Schoolers across the District mastered the delicate craft of Stained Glass with local artist Stacy O’Sullivan at Midland Valley High School!
The action didn't stop there; our athletic programs were not outshined! Coach Tice and the Aiken High School’s Girl’s Soccer team had an incredible week of skill building on the pitch while Kennedy Middle hosted an unmatched Sports Camp led by Coach Shuford and Coach Edwards. They even welcomed First Tee of Aiken to the camp to get our young athletes "Masters-ready" for next week!
Whether they were building robots or perfecting their swing, our students made every moment of this Spring Intersession count.

As we continue celebrating another successful year of March Madness, we want to give a HUGE thank you to Chick-fil-A of Aiken for partnering with us!
