Register Your Student for the 2026-27 School Year
New and Returning Student Registration is underway for the upcoming 2026-27 School Year.
Please take a few minutes to review the registration information at www.acpsd.net/register or go directly to your parent portal in PowerSchool at http://aiken.powerschool.com/public.
For returning students, registration takes just a few minutes through your parent portal account as the student’s existing registration information will pre-populate. Please review and change any information that needs updating and ensure that up-to-date emergency contact information is included for each student.
Registering your student now helps us get ready to welcome your student back after the summer and ensure a smooth start to next school year, allowing teachers and classrooms to be assigned to serve your student on day one.

What a fantastic Teacher Appreciation Week we had. Thank you to PTO for providing BBQ Barn today and our Awala water bottles on Monday. Thank you to Mr. Spears, Coach Moore, and Coach Hadden for grilling up hibachi yesterday, and to Dr. Laughter for making 10 pounds of rice. Thank you to Suzanne Abney for spending Tuesday and Wednesday with us making slushies and milkshakes, yum. A big thank you to Mrs. Vinson for always providing us with an entertaining week of activities. Finally thank you to the LBC faculty and staff for making LBC THE PLACE TO BE!

Student Council went to Education Day at SRP Park. Sadly we didn't get to see the Greenjackets throw one ball. It rained the entire time. I did get to witness our LBC kids being the best behaved kids in a sold out stadium though.

Congratulations to Keila Llorente, Joshua Munoz, Saray Gonzalez, and Samantha Gonzalez for making Region band. Samantha Gonzalez was also the only one who represented LBC at Furman University alternate band at All State.
Last Friday the LBC band had 10 students participating in Aiken County's All-County and Da Capo Band Festival. Keila Llorente and Joshua Munoz will participate in the Junior Band, while Riley Karimian, Josue Mercado Vargas, Channing Denman. Brandon Solis Tagui, Grayson Belote, Saul Torres, Alyssa Fogg, and Josiah Meadows will participate in the De Capo Band. Prior to this, Keila and Joshua also participated in the Region 2 Honor Band Festival, with Keila playing for the Junior Band and Joshua playing for the Alternate band. Please congratulate these students on the hard work they've put in to achieve this honor!
