Greendale’s Drop Off/Pick Up Information Morning –

Morning Drop off- All car rider students should be dropped off between the two yellow exes from 7:00am-7:30am. Please make sure children are ready to exit the vehicle quickly to keep carline moving. If not, you will need to exit the carline and circle back around. If your child arrives after 7:30, a parent/guardian must walk them in to be signed in.

No child should be dropped off at the door and left after the tardy bell.

No child should ever be dropped off on the side of the road, in the red x area.

Afternoon Pick Up- All car riders will be dismissed using the front carline in the afternoon. A carline tag must be displayed when picking children up. You will be asked to park and come inside to verify your identity and sign out your child if you do not have a carline tag – even if we know you. For the safety of our students there will be NO EXCEPTIONS to this rule.

To keep the carline flowing smoothly we ask that you please do not get out and buckle your children in while in the carline. You may pull out of the carline and pull to the side of the street to do so. Teachers and/or staff are NOT allowed to buckle your child(ren) in. Please DO NOT pass or go around other cars while in the carline.

Because the carline is located at the front of the school we ask that you do not begin arriving for carline before 2:00pm. This will prevent traffic congestion in the event of an emergency. Carline closes at 2:45 and teachers are then off duty. Anyone arriving after 2:45 must park, come in, and sign your student out from the main office.

One Way Traffic-Please obey all traffic signs. Keep in mind that traffic flow is one direction ONLY during drop off and pick up times. Law enforcement may be present, and you will be ticketed.
