Albert McBurnette, a proud alumnus of Langley-Bath-Clearwater Middle School and a native of Warrenville, SC, joined the cafeteria team at LBC Middle last year in search for something new and exciting. Following in his mother’s footsteps, he is eager to expand his knowledge and give back to the community where he was raised.
One of the highlights of Albert’s job is being able to see the smiles on student’s faces as they enjoy school meals in the cafeteria. Albert is also grateful for the people he has met, and the connections he has made since beginning his journey in the LBC Middle kitchen. Albert credits much of his growth to being actively engaged and present each day and views this mindset as an excellent way to kick off any new professional journey.
Outside of the kitchen, Albert enjoys motivating others, writing poetry, and playing games. His colleagues describe him as funny and full of joy, always bringing a sense of fun into the kitchen. He is also an outdoorsman and loves to take walks through nature.
