Introducing New Cafeteria Environments
Early last spring, the Child Nutrition Program and Chartwells began collaborating on an Environments Project, one of the many additions to the program made available through the partnership. As part of this project that was finalized and completed in December, 10 schools throughout Aiken County Public School District received updated environmental factors. Some of these updates included new paint, additions of vinyl wrap to serving line equipment, wall mural additions, along with wall art panels and menu boards. The project is just another way that Chartwells and the ACPSD Child Nutrition Program hope to instill student appreciation for nutritious food choices - supporting both parties’ commitment to student health.
The schools that received these dining upgrades include A.L. Corbett Middle, Aiken High, Byrd Elementary, Graniteville Elementary, Jackson Middle, Millbrook ELementary, Mossy Creek Elementary, North Augusta High, Redcliffe Elementary, and Ridge-Spring Monetta Middle/High.
