Aiken iNNOVATE Student Laptops:

Parents and Students, Aiken iNNOVATE students are required to accept and use ACPSD laptops when participating in live sessions and proctored exams, both in person and while at home.  If you need a computer, please call the number for Ai Support (top-right of this page) and arrange a time to go to the Operations Center to pick one up. 

A laptop and internet access are necessary for virtual learning.  All ACPSD students will be issued a Windows PC laptop.  Laptop devices (including power cords and protective covers) will be distributed at the beginning of each school year.  

All programs and software required for ACPSD core academic learning are compatible with ACPSD laptops.  Students who participate in Aiken iNNOVATE must accept the laptop provided by the district so that we can provide support.  Students/Parents who refuse to accept a district laptop will not be allowed to participate in Aiken iNNOVATE.  

Laptops are equipped with tracking capabilities, which are utilized for loss prevention.  Before students take the device home, Aiken iNNOVATE parents will need to attend a laptop orientation at their child’s homeschool, or go to one scheduled at the district office.
