📅 **Parent-Teacher Conferences – Tomorrow**
Students will not be in school tomorrow, but parent-teacher conferences will take place from **10:00 AM–5:45 PM**. Please reach out to your child’s teacher through the ACPSD app and Rooms to schedule an appointment.
📝 **2nd Grade Testing**
We are continuing testing with our 2nd graders this week! Let’s wish our little Bulldogs the best as they work hard and show what they know! ❤️
🍂 **Spooky to Be Hungry – Golden Harvest Food Drive**
Our food drive is still going on this week! Thank you for supporting this effort and helping us make a difference in our community.
🍬 **Boo-levard Candy Donations**
We are still collecting **individually wrapped candy** for our annual Boo-levard! Donations can be dropped off in the front office. Thank you for helping us make this a fun and memorable event for our Bulldogs! 🎃🐾
🚌 **National School Bus Safety Week**
This week, we celebrate National School Bus Safety Week! A big THANK YOU to our transportation department and bus drivers for safely getting our Bulldogs to and from school each day. We appreciate all you do! 💛
🥒 **PTO Pickle Sale – Friday!**
Our PTO will be selling pickles during lunch on Friday! Be sure to check the Busbee PTO Facebook page for more information.

There will be no school for students on Monday, but our teachers will be on campus and ready to welcome you for parent-teacher conferences from 10:00 a.m. to 5:45 p.m.
Please sign up for a time with each of your child’s teachers. Conferences are a great opportunity to celebrate your child’s progress, discuss their academic growth, ask questions, and share your perspective on their learning journey.

This is a friendly reminder that Aiken County Public Schools are on Fall Break.
Busbee Elementary will be open with limited staff from 8:00 AM–4:00 PM Monday, September 28, through Thursday, October 1. Intersession will be held this week for those that accepted invites from the school.
The following week, October 5–9, is a scheduled Fall Break for all students.
School will return to regular hours on Monday, October 12.
Have a wonderful and restful break! Stay safe, enjoy time with your family, and we look forward to seeing our Bulldogs back at school!

We are now accepting can goods and non-perishable items until October 30th for our annual food drive! These items will be given to Golden Harvest to help feed many families in need! Golden Harvest always make sure that Busbee Elementary is stocked every year with food bags for some of our students to take home on the weekends.

♿ Do not block access to designated handicap parking spaces or ramps.
🚫 Please do not drop off any student in the parking lot without an adult walking them into the building.
🚗 Any cars coming in for afternoon carline, please stop before designated handicap spaces. Thank you! These areas must remain accessible at all times.

We are incredibly grateful to SRP Federal Credit Union for investing in the future of our elementary students and educators through its new Investing in Education: Unlimited Possibilities initiative.
At the kickoff event held at the WOW! Club at, SRP Park in North Augusta, SRP Federal Credit Union announced that 83 schools across 10 CSRA counties will each receive $2,500 representing a remarkable $207,500 total investment in local elementary education.
This generous support gives our principals the flexibility to respond to the unique needs of their schools — whether that means providing instructional resources, creating hands-on learning experiences, supporting teachers, or offering enriching opportunities for students.
“This investment empowers our principals to respond directly to the unique needs of their schools and create meaningful opportunities through instructional resources, hands-on learning, and enrichment experiences," Dr. Charlene Heard, Assistant Superintendent of Elementary Schools said.
