Investing in Our Students. Supporting Our Schools. Building Possibilities.

We are incredibly grateful to SRP Federal Credit Union for investing in the future of our elementary students and educators through its new Investing in Education: Unlimited Possibilities initiative.

At the kickoff event held at the WOW! Club at, SRP Park in North Augusta, SRP Federal Credit Union announced that 83 schools across 10 CSRA counties will each receive $2,500 representing a remarkable $207,500 total investment in local elementary education.

This generous support gives our principals the flexibility to respond to the unique needs of their schools — whether that means providing instructional resources, creating hands-on learning experiences, supporting teachers, or offering enriching opportunities for students.

“This investment empowers our principals to respond directly to the unique needs of their schools and create meaningful opportunities through instructional resources, hands-on learning, and enrichment experiences," Dr. Charlene Heard, Assistant Superintendent of Elementary Schools said.

Partnerships like this remind us what is possible when our schools and community come together with a shared commitment to student success. We are proud to have SRP Federal Credit Union investing alongside us and helping create unlimited possibilities for our students!

Good evening, Busbee Families!

Over the last six weeks, our school has experienced multiple false fire alarms. Although several repairs have been made, we recently learned that the fire alarm panel must be replaced.

We are working closely with local and state fire officials, the South Carolina Office of School Facilities (OSF), and other partners to expedite the replacement. While the panel is inoperable, we have implemented a formal “Fire Watch” to ensure the continued safety of our students and staff. Designated staff members are conducting and documenting hourly inspections of the interior and exterior of our campus, with particular attention to areas containing mechanical and electrical equipment.

Because the fire alarm pull stations will not activate an alarm while the panel is out of service, any concern involving smoke or fire must be reported immediately by calling 911.

We will share an update as soon as additional information about the repair is available. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Flyer created to remind students and staff about the early release day scheduled for August 19th.

Good evening, Bulldogs!

We have seen improvement with students arriving on time and ready to learn! Classes begin at 7:30 a.m., and students are considered tardy beginning at 7:35 a.m. Getting your student to school on time helps us maximize learning, and we greatly appreciate your support!

Morning Car Line Reminders

We have seen an increase in the number of car riders this year. Safety is our #1 priority, and we need everyone’s help to keep our morning car line safe and moving efficiently.

Please focus on these three things this week:

Please do not drop students off in the parking lot. This slows down the car line and creates visibility concerns with vehicles moving through the parking lot. Please use the designated drop-off zone.
At the stop sign, please turn RIGHT ONLY during the posted times. Follow all posted signs and directions.
Please have your child ready before reaching the drop-off zone and pull all the way forward. This allows us to unload multiple vehicles safely and keeps the line moving.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we work together to keep our Bulldogs safe!

Additional Reminders

Thank you to our wonderful cafe staff for helping with our meals! This includes our new breakfast on the go, if students are coming in after classes are picked up.

Student Sign-In/Sign-Out: Any parent or guardian signing a student in or out must bring a photo ID to the front office.

Upcoming Events: Please mark your calendars for our upcoming events. Additional information can be found in our previous post.

Follow Busbee PTO facebook page for updates!

Bull dog
Good afternoon Bulldogs we hope you are having a tremendous day. Tomorrow July 20th is the first day of the 26-27 School year. Here are a few reminders for the first week. Please make sure you have registered your student. Non registered students will not have a schedule. Doors open at 6:55AM tardies occur at 7:40 however this first week while our Bulldogs are getting used to our procedures we will not record tardies. Students will report to cafeteria if they want breakfast or to their classroom. We will have several staff throughout the building to make sure they get to their destination safely. Safety is our top priority. This week we will allow families to walk their students to classrooms. However after July 24th we remind you-that anyone entering our building must check in at the main office. Everyone must enter through the front entrance and pass through the detectors. Please do not drop students off in the parking lot.Utilize the car line to ensure safety of all students. If you plan on walking your student in this first week please utilize the crosswalk. The bus lot is closed to car riders please do not drop off or pick up in the back lot. This is a huge safety issue. Please be patient with us the first few weeks. We have several new families that are unfamiliar with our procedures. Model respect and kindness for our Bulldogs! Please exit through the main entrance as well the other exits are to remain locked for safety reasons . Please make sure your child knows how they are getting home. Transportation changes must be in by 1:00 Pm daily to ensure the information gets relayed to your child Sign outs after 2Pm are not allowed this is a district policy. Let's make this school year a tremendous experience for all!! We are excited to see you! Have a blessed day

🌙💙 **Good Evening, Bulldog Families!** 🐾

As we get ready to welcome our Bulldogs back to school on Monday, I'd like to ask each family to do something simple but incredibly powerful this weekend.

Take a few moments to speak **confidence, encouragement, and purpose** into your child.

Tell them:
💙 *"I'm proud of you."*
💙 *"You are capable."*
💙 *"You are stronger than you think."*
💙 *"Your best is enough."*
💙 *"Tomorrow is a fresh start, and I know you're going to do great things."*

We have the privilege of watching students grow every single day. We learned that children often begin to believe what the important adults in their lives tell them. Your words matter. They have the power to build confidence, inspire perseverance, and remind your child that they are never facing challenges alone.

At our school, we have high expectations because we believe in every student. We expect our Bulldogs to be respectful, responsible, kind, and determined—but we also promise to encourage them, support them, and celebrate their growth every step of the way.

This school year, let's be a team. Together, we'll create a school where every child feels safe, valued, challenged, and loved. When home and school work together, there's no limit to what our students can accomplish.

We can't wait to greet our Bulldogs Monday morning with a smile, a high five, and excitement for all that's ahead.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend, get a good night's rest, and let's start this school year with positive hearts, great attitudes, and the belief that this is going to be an outstanding year.
