XSEL

Welcome to XSEL, an Elementary Behavior Intervention Program. The program, which began at the beginning of the 2020-21 school year and is led by Director Cassie Cagle, focuses on Social Emotional Learning (SEL) for students in kindergarten through fifth grade.

The program's name, pronounced "excel" and logo of a whimsical look which incorporates a directional arrow off the “X” in the name and a hot air balloon rising above the clouds, identifies the unique mission of XSEL. Focusing on Social Emotional Learning (SEL), the program exists to help students identify social and emotional triggers, teaching the student to self-regulate and overcome behavioral challenges.

The XSEL faculty and staff look forward to working with students and families to help students reach both academic and behavioral success through expectations for students to be Safe, Eager and Loyal. The program is built on the principals of applied behavior analysis, positive student-teacher relationships, and parent involvement. Every member of the XSEL team is a valuable voice and we welcome hearing from you.
