To provide all students with constructive, purposeful, and developmentally appropriate opportunities to play, discover, and learn through social interactions to inspire a lifelong love of learning.

The Aiken County Public School District believes that early childhood education is a journey and not a destination.  Our 4K program provides a rich foundation with a literacy and play-based curriculum.  Our goal is for each child to be an active, engaged, lifelong learner who will grow to his/her fullest potential.  In partnership with families and the community and taught by certified teachers, our partner sites offer a safe and nurturing educational environment that invites curiosity and fosters an eagerness to learn.

Through the implementation of researched based and age - appropriate practices we are continuously improving our early learning programs and expanding opportunities for our youngest learners throughout the district.
